High School Football Scores From Week 8

In an Eastern Panhandle battle of unbeatens, Jefferson ran past Martinsburg, 32-0. The Cougars, who entered the game as the No. 3 team in Class AAA, moved to 8-0 with the victory over the No. 4 Bulldogs, who are now 7-1.

Elsewhere in Class AAA, No. 1 Woodrow Wilson (7-0) rolled to an easy win with a 68-21 victory over Spring Valley, while No. 2 Morgantown (8-0) shutout Parkersburg South, 19-0.

The top two teams in Class AA also won easily, as No. 1 Wayne (7-0) trounced Tolsia, 44-7, while No. 2 Weir (7-1) bounced back from its first loss of the season by running away from Brooke, 42-10.

In Class A, No. 1 Williamstown (7-0) won its 43rd straight regular season game, downing Wirt County, 47-0. No. 2 Greenbrier West went to 8-0 with a 26-0 blanking of Clay County.
