Two WVIAC Women's Basketball Squads Earn National Preseason Rankings
Charleston, Glenville State in Top 20

A pair of West Virginia Conference women's basketball squads are included in the Women's Division II Bulletin Preseason Top 25. Defending East Region champions Charleston holds down the #3 spot in the poll, while traditionally strong Glenville State is ranked #19.

Sherry Winn's UC squad returns their entire roster from last season's 29-5 edition that reached the Division II Elite Eight. UC standout Lisa Lee is listed as one of the publication's Super 16 players. Glenville State, a 24-8 team in 2004-05, is led by the inside-outside combination of guard Rachel Redick and center Denae Dobbins. Redick is an honorable mention All-American selection by D-II Bulletin.

Wheeling Jesuit was listed as a team to watch. The Cardinals finished 23-9 last year and claimed the WVIAC tournament title.
