Ted Scott, West Virginia State, G, 6-1, Soph., Columbus, OH: Scott averaged nearly a point per minute in the Jackets' wins over Elizabeth City State and Livingstone...The Columbus, OH sophomore averaged 18.0 points during the victories in the Charleston Embassy Suites Classic
with a high of 21 points versus Elizabeth City State on Friday...He connected on 12 of 21 field goals and 6 of 7 field goals while only playing 44 minutes on the week...He also chipped in with 2.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 2.0 steals per contest.

Other nominees: Fairmont State's Chris Carey (27 points in win over Pitt-Greensburg), West Liberty State's Chris Blair (13 points, 11 rebounds in win over Point Park), Charleston's Robert Strickland (14.0 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 3.3 bpg in 3-0 week), and Salem International's Shaun McKie (20.5 ppg, 4.0 apg in 1-1 week).

WOMEN
Lisa Lee, Charleston, F, 6-0, Sr., Charleston, WV/Rachel Redick, Glenville State, G, 5-8, Jr., Franklin, PA: Both players were named to the all-tournament squad at the Susan G. Komen Classic after leading their nationally ranked teams to 3-0 records...Lee averaged 21.7 ppg,
6.0 rpg, and 3.0 apg in three wins against regional opponents...The former Capital HS standout tallied 27 points in a victory against #12 California (PA) and added 28 points in Sunday's win over West Chester...Redick tallied 23.0 ppg, 4.7 rpg, and 2.7 apg as the Pioneers won three times versus Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference rivals...The junior tossed in a season-high 29 points in Sunday's win against #12 California (PA).

Other nominees: Fairmont State's Ashley Reed (22 points in victory against Slippery Rock), West Liberty State's Lena Kalvans (20 points, 10 rebounds in win over Findlay), West Virginia State's LaShay Anderson (24.5 ppg in 1-1 week), and Salem International's Jody Green (17.7 ppg
in 0-3 week).
