Lady Lions' Home Win Streak Comes to an End

Athens, WV After a six game winning streak at home, the Lady Lions fell to the top ranked team of the WVIAC. Glenville State College defeated Concord 96 - 63


Mountain Lions Lose At Fairmont

Fairmont, WV It was another heartbreak loss for the Mountain Lions. With 3 Seconds left in the game Fairmont's Chris Carey hit a 3-pointer to give the Lions another disappointing loss, 71-72.

With 11 seconds left Kent McBride took his second of two free throws and missed to give the ball back to the Falcons. The ball was passed deep behind the three line to Chris Carney to finish off the game.


The Road to Boston Has Been Paved

John Paul Blankenship

It has been more than a year since John Paul Blankenship last competed for the Mountain Lions but he came out strong at Virginia Tech. With his first throw of the competition, John Paul threw a provisional mark for indoor nationals. His best throw of the competition was his third throw of 53'9.75'' which will rank him third nationally and second in the competition.
