Martin Luther King Jr. Remembered for His Dream
WHEELING — While one minister called for unity in the community, another said today’s Martin Luther King Jr. observance should be considered a “day on” rather than a “day off.”

Residents from throughout the area came together for a march Sunday afternoon in Wheeling honoring Martin Luther King Jr., who said he had a dream of his children not being “judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” Services at Wheeling Jesuit University and Macedonia Baptist Church followed. Observances continue today.
