SJI gives Irish reason to get up
The importance of the St. Joe Invitational to the host school is not lost on first-year Fighting Irish head coach Ty Holmes. Details Fairland spoils Rucker's big night

There's the matter of settling in-state supremacy, snapping a three-game losing streak and performing at a high level before a sold-out Charleston Civic Center crowd. Details Herd seeking shooting touch
The time appears right for the Capital Classic. Even when apparently overmatched, Marshall consistently plays well in its men's basketball matchups with West Virginia. The annual series resumes on Wednesday, and the Thundering Herd certainly would welcome a repeat of last season's Charleston Civic Center shooting touch. Details
