West Virginia University is expected to make it official on Friday with an announcement that Bob Huggins will be the next Head Basketball Coach at West Virginia University.
Huggins arrived in West Virginia on Thursday night. His plane landed after seven o'clock at Charleston's Yeager Airport.
Kansas State announced that Huggins had handed in his resignation as part of a press conference on Thursday afternoon. This Mountaineer fan saw the announcement. "You could see and hear it in their voices that they were, definitely, disappointed and upset that Huggins had decided to leave."
Not every Mountaineer fan is happy. "We just got the used car salesman of NCAA basketball," one fan said on Thursday night's Statewide Sportsline.
Huggins is a Morgantown Native.
