Positive thoughts at holiday season

As is the case every holiday season, this column will be devoted to positive comments as the year winds to a close. Thus, most readers can put the thing aside now, since you will not see anything remotely negative in this edition.
The holiday season does cause all of us involved with The Lincoln Journal and the world of sports to pause and give thought to all that is good and right about our county, state and nation. While Americans will be among the first to criticize their leaders and the good, old USA, it is sort of like the comments we often read about family. It is okay for "us" to say something negative about our sisters, moms and dads, but don't let anyone else try for fear of facing the wrath of an irate brother, son or daughter.

Greenbrier East-56; LC-52
