| After Christy Alltop scored the first four points of the game, the Lady Pioneers never looked back as they rolled over the Lady Toppers of West Liberty State College 77-48. WV State University's Lady Yellow Jackets were no match for the #6 nationally ranked Lady Pioneers. Rachel Redick's 30 points led all scorers. The Lady Bobcats of West Virginia Wesleyan College fought hard but could not match the Lady Pioneers as GSC takes the contest 85-71. The Lady Pioneers defeated the Fightin' Tigers of Salem International University 84-60, keeping their perfect record in WVIAC play. The Lady Pioneers used stifling defense and capitalized on Shepherd's mistakes to defeat the Rams 73-46. The Battlers of Alderson-Broaddus (2-14, 1-7) came to Glenville looking for a win, but left with another WVIAC defeat. Seniors Rachel Redick and Casey Taylor combined for 47 points and freshman Melanie Oliver tallied her second double-double of the season as the Lady Pioneers cruised to an easy 84-44 victory. Rachel Redick scored 20 points and the Lady Pioneers converted 11 three-point shots as they smashed the Lady Mountain Cats, 79-42. The Lady Pioneers committed 23 turnovers and were able to convert only 35% of their field goal attempts in their East Regional contest with the University of Charleston. Denae Dobbins led the Lady Pioneers with 26 points and 15 rebounds. The Glenville State women's basketball team recorded their 30th victory of the season as they dominated Anderson, 94-76. Denae Dobbins and Casey Taylor combined for 45 points and 25 rebounds as the Lady Pioneers cruised past WV State, 89-61, in the WVIAC women's quarterfinals. Denae Dobbins, Rachel Redick, and Casey Taylor were recently named to the women's WVIAC All-Conference team, as released by the conference office. Casey Taylor, a junior on the Lady Pioneers #4 nationally ranked team, recently was named as the WVIAC Player of the Week. Six Lady Pioneer players scored in double figures as they cruised to an easy 91-42 victory in Elkins, WV. Glenville State's Lady Pioneers closed the game with an 18-8 run, giving them an 85-67 win and allowing them to extend their current win streak to nine games. Glenville State's Lady Pioneers placed six players in double figures and all 10 players scored as the Lady Pioneers dominated the Lady Battlers, 107-73. Four players scored in double figures as the Lady Pioneers cruised to their sixth consecutive victory. The Lady Pioneers converted a season-high 14 three-point shots en route to a 103-58 blowout over Davis & Elkins' Lady Pioneers. The #7 nationally ranked Lady Pioneers jumped out to a 27-9 lead in the opening half and went on to win easily over the visiting Hilltoppers, 74-58. Glenville State's women's basketball team overcame a sluggish first half to cruise to an 82-66 WVIAC victory. The Lady Pioneers bounced back from their disappointing loss to the University of Charleston to blast Bluefield State's Lady Blues, 89-62. The Lady Pioneers dominated the final 10 minutes of play against host West Virginia State leading them to an 87-68 victory. The Lady Pioneers had all 10 players score in their game against Concord as they cruise to a 96-63 conference victory. Lady Pioneer Denae Dobbins scored 21 points, grabbed a season-high 21 rebounds, and blocked nine shots to lead the Lady Pioneers to a 72-52 road victory over host Pitt-Johnstown. Glenville State's Lady Pioneers received 26 points and 12 rebounds from lone senior Denae Dobbins as they defeated visiting Wheeling Jesuit University. The Lady Pioneers cruise to an easy 91-52 win in their WVIAC opener against Ohio Valley University. The Lady Pioneers overcame another sluggish first half to cruise to a 69-39 victory. The Lady Pioneers overcame a sluggish first half to blow out West Chester, 65-38. The Lady Pioneers won their first two games of the season against Pitt-Johnstown and Findlay. The two wins gave the Lady Pioneers the Findlay Tournament championship. The Lady Pioneers thoroughly enjoyed Senior Night as they drop the Lady Senators, 87-44. Glenville State's Lady Pioneers closed the game on a 20-8 run to defeat Concord's Lady Mountain Cats. The game's final score was 60-52. The Lady Pioneers dropped two games this past weekend to Cal. State-Bakersfield and Cal Poly Pomona at the Classic Western Shootout in Bakersfield, California. The Lady Pioneers place four players in double figures as they beat Ohio Valley, 78-44, to extend their consecutive home game win streak to 64 games. The Lady Pioneers ran their consecutive game home winning streak to 63 with a 65-47 victory over Bloomsburg. The Lady Pioneers clinch their third consecutive regular season WVIAC championship by bashing the Alderson-Broaddus College Lady Battlers, 94-70. The Lady Pioneers completed their season sweep over WVIAC rival West Virginia Wesleyan with a 72-55 victory on the road in Buckhannon, West Virginia. The Lady Pioneers place five players in double figures as they destroy the Lady Battlers. The freshmen duo of Rachel Redick and Casey Taylor score 14 points each to lead the Lady Pioneers to their 58th consecutive home court victory.
