Track Team Shows Promise at Marietta |
| The men's and women's track competed at Marietta College in Ohio this past Saturday. The men's team finished in 8th place and the women in 9th. Coach Cox said "I was pleased with their performances at this point in the season. We are ahead of where we were last year." The lone champion was John Paul Blankenship who threw almost an entire meter farther than the competition (16.40). |

| Concord Football Has Winners In The Football Recognition Luncheon | ||
Athens, WV Concord Football held its annual Football Recognition Luncheon on Saturday January, 14th. The day started out with lunch and video highlights from the 2006 season and then moved into the major part of the night, the award ceremony. The first award given out was the "Noteworthy Academic Achievement Award". This is given out to outstanding athletic student. |
