Audio Included Bill Stewart: Wednesday Practice Comments

The last day of spring practice was on an ideal spring day. Bill Stewart hopes for the same weather on Saturday and not a winter fest like last year for the Gold Blue game.

Stewart was his usual positive self after practice Wednesday, and commented on several players for the fans to watch.

One of those players is Will Johnson, a converted tight end, who Stewart says is the best Ohio player that no one knows about. Stewart has stressed the use of the tight end throughout this year’s spring. Another player is Bradley Starks, a converted wide receiver, who wanted to play quarterback but Stewart talked him into playing receiver, at least for this season.

The Gold Blue game on Saturday will start at 12:30, the cost is $5 and all proceeds will go to the WVU Children’s Hospital.
