Chris Carey, Fairmont State, 6-4, Soph., G, Morgantown, WV
Carey averaged 27.5 points per game and was named to the all-tournament team as Fairmont State split a pair of games at the Glenville Orthopedics Classic...His 23 points paced FSU to a 104-94 upset over #11 Pfeiffer...

Shane Maynard, West Liberty State, 6-4, Jr., F, Beckley, WV:
Maynard was a key for West Liberty State in a pair of in-region victories over Pitt Johnstown and Mansfield...The Beckley junior averaged 28.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.0 steals per game...His season-high 41 points versus Pitt Johnstown helped the Toppers avenge an earlier loss to the Mountain Cats.

Other nominees: Ohio Valley's Chris LeBorious (27 points, 14 rebounds in loss to Division I Campbell), Glenville State's Chase Groves ( 24.3 ppg in three contests), Alderson-Broaddus' Stan Hall (22 points in loss at Virginia State), Pitt Johnstown's Dwight Hines (24.0 ppg in two games), Shepherd's Danley Shank (20.5 ppg in two contests), Wheeling Jesuit's Colin Howard ( 19.0 ppg, 6.0 rpg in two victories), and Charleston's Dustin Kinney (17 points, 11 rebounds in win over Chowan).

Scott scored a career-high 36 points in WVSU's 90-82 win at Tampa on Sunday...He also added three assists and three steals to help the Jackets improve to 6-2.

Brian Foster, Concord, 6-0, Sr., G, South Bend, IN
Foster paced Concord in a league win over Davis & Elkins by pouring in a career-high 35 points in a 84-72 Mountain Lion victory...The senior guard hit on 11 of 16 field goals and was a perfect 8 of 8 from the foul stripe...

Shane Maynard, West Liberty State, 6-4, Jr., F, Beckley, WV:
Maynard helped West Liberty State claim their league opener with 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists in a 107-89 win against Glenville State...The Beckley native went 10 for 17 from the floor as the Toppers moved to 5-2 on the season.

Jelani Jackson, Davis & Elkins, Jr., F, 6-4, Harrisburg, PA:
Jackson averaged 26.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game as the Senators split a pair of league contests...The junior led the Senators to their first win over Fairmont State since 1993 with 33 points and six rebounds in Thursday's victory over the Falcons...He added a 20 point, eight rebound effort in Saturday's loss to Shepherd.

Shank scored 19 of his game-high 25 points in Monday's 60-51 regional win over Shippensburg...The senior forward added six rebounds as the Rams avenged a 30-point loss to Ship last season...The Rams are one of two remaining league squads without a defeat.

Moliva connected on 20 of 25 field goals to lead Shepherd to the Clarion Hotel Tipoff Classic with a pair of wins over Columbia Union and California (PA)...The senior averaged 26.5 points and 2.5 rebounds to help the Rams to a 2-0 start...

Scott led West Virginia State to a pair of victories at the Johnson C. Smith Wendy's Tipoff Classic by notching 24.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per contest...The junior hit on 16 of 30 field goal tries...His six three-pointers and 28 points were key in Saturday's 95-86 overtime victory over #23 Johnson C. Smith.

Street takes conference honors for a second straight week after leading West Liberty State to a pair of victories against Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference squads...The junior guard averaged 22.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 3.0 steals per game in victories over Lock Haven and Indiana (PA)...Street connected on 16 of 24 field goal attempts and was named to the all-tournament team at the IUP Classic.

Jenna Eckleberry, Fairmont State, Sr., G, 5-2, Chester, WV:
Eckleberry established a new Fairmont State school with 17 assists in Saturday's win over regional foe West Chester...On the weekend, Eckleberry averaged 7.0 points and 12.0 assists per game with a 24-1 assist-to-turnover ratio.
